The Fatcake team has helmed feature films, network, cable, and internet shows of every conceivable budget. Bottom line - we know the field, we know post, we know crews, we know gear and we know how to organize/structure/manage shoots around the world.
In addition to working behind-the-scenes for the industry giants, we also produce and create shows. After creating and selling the foodie adventure show "Craving Adventure" to the Travel Channel, we branched off into a series of development projects - original shows and co-productions.
With the right combination of creativity, contacts, business savvy, sense of humor and a tireless work ethic, the Fatcake team is always looking to partner with good people and great projects - hope we see ya on the next one!
In the meantime we've got loads going on including a new Pilates/Food/Volunteering in Isla Mujeres, Mexico; a win-a-free-trip to Baja contest for 4th World Love; and a new documentary on the way.
First up, 4WL sponsored a family of four on the idyllic isle of Isla Mujeres, Mexico and sent the girls to English school...shortly thereafter, we tackled the magical mountain village of Sembalun on the Muslim island of Lombok in exotic Indonesia. Nestled at the base of Mt. Rinjani, the 2nd highest volcano in Indo, 4WL has just opened its first Community Development Center housing English lessons and a computer lab, a library, school and art supplies, musical instruments, digital and video cameras, a carpenter’s workshop, local café and a place for the local teenagers to come together and dream. Enough money was raised to begin an organic farming initiative, offer micro grants for young upstarts and, most importantly, fund live-altering cleft palate and heart surgeries for the babies of the village.

And, for those curious about our NGO, 4th World Love, read on...
Traveling to remote villages and living like locals is the way Fatcake rolls. So it was only a matter of time before our global experiences spurned a philanthropic arm…and 4th World Love was born. Charmed by the good people of Mexico and Indonesia, the ideology of creating community empowerment through grassroots projects in distant lands turned into a reality.First up, 4WL sponsored a family of four on the idyllic isle of Isla Mujeres, Mexico and sent the girls to English school...shortly thereafter, we tackled the magical mountain village of Sembalun on the Muslim island of Lombok in exotic Indonesia. As we continue to help sustain the good work in Indonesia, up next on the plate is Baja, Mexico. Join us on our next adventure, donate to a good cause or send us an email with ideas you may have - we love hearing from you!
